Refrigerator: Appliance essential in school-based feeding program

THE Department of Education Division of Benguet Health Section delivered refrigerators to the schoolbasedfeeding program in Buguias, Benguet. On Oct. 15, eight units of sharp model refrigerators and nine pieces coolers were received by the nine identified schools and 188 pupils in the elementary level. The recepients in Buguias, Benguet were; Abatan Elementary School, Bekes Elementary School, Engay Willie Elementary School, Pasbol Elementary School, Paing Elementary School, Pan-ayaoan Elementary School, Pugo Elementary School, Saclalan Elementary Schooland Sagandoy Elementary School. The said appliances were intended to preserve foods and easy preparation during the feeding time of the pupils. And beverages like fresh milks were kept to maintain its freshness for the weekly feeding activity.
